In recognition of #WorldFoodDay, the BOSS Panel, comprising our esteemed alumni, convened an inspiring discussion inspired by the FAO’s Hand-in-Hand Initiative—a call for collaboration to accelerate progress towards ending hunger. The conversation was a powerful reminder that food security is not just a global goal—it is a shared human responsibility, achieved hand in hand.

The future of education must focus on adaptability and critical thinking to prepare youth for success in an ever-changing world, a BOSS Panel Discussion titled, “Future of Education”
Preparing Youth for a Rapidly Changing World’ was held at Beaconhouse Gulshan Cambridge Campus, Karachi. Panelists included Mr. Asad Ali Butt – Class of 2012 – Brand Manager at Bank Al-Habib, Mr. Zyad Abdullah Tariq – Class of 2012 – Senior QA Associate at US Mobile, Mr. Saad Bin Sohail – Class of 2015 – Assistant Manager – Assurance Overseas Group at AF Ferguson and Co. Chartered Accountants, Ms. Amna Siddiqui – Class of 2019 – Student at the Institute of Business Management, Dr. Kanza – Class of 2012 – Postgraduate resident in Gynaecology and Obstetrics at Jinnah Hospital Karachi. Moderated by Mr Syed Naaim Shadman – Class of 2021 – Student, IBA Karachi. Ms. Sadaf Anwer (Head Mistress – Gulshan Cambridge Campus) facilitated the Alumni Relations Team in every respect which made this event a success! The event concluded with a questions and answers session with the students and ending remarks by Ms. Humaira Shahab (School Head).
Automation & Unemployment, a Paradigm Shift.
To identify the reasons and consequences of a paradigm shift related to Unemployment and Automation, a BOSS Panel Discussion titled, ‘Unemployment and Automation, a Paradigm Shift”’ was held at Beaconhouse Johar Town Boys Campus, Lahore The event started with the recitation and translation of a few verses from the Holy Quran by the students followed by the national anthem. Ms Eesha Qayyum – (Senior Officer – Alumni Relations Department, Beaconhouse) welcomed the audience and introduced the Beaconhouse Old Students Society (BOSS). She stressed the key elements and basic objectives of BOSS. Panelists included Mr Saad Ahmad, Class of 2014, Senior Software Engineer, Team Lead. At Cinnova Technologies, Mr. Syed Lakht e Hassan, Class of 2019, Civil Engineer Student at NUST, Mr Huzaifa Ahmad, Class of 2011, Co-Founder RIZQ, Mr. Hammad Khan Class of 2017, Medical Student at KEMU. Ms. Farah Waqas (Assistant Manager – Alumni Relations Department, Beaconhouse) moderated the session. Ms Naila facilitated the Alumni Relations Team in every respect which made this event a success! The event concluded with a questions and answers session with the students and ending remarks by Ms Attia Randhawa (School Head). Finally, the panelists were presented with bouquets and giveaways, followed by refreshments.
Start-Up Success, A Reality or an Illusion
To emphasize the significant change in societal mindset about the success of start-ups a BOSS Panel Discussion, titled ‘Start-Up Success, a Reality or an Illusion’ was held at BCP Gulberg Campus, Lahore on the 28th of August 2024. The event started with the recitation and translation of a few verses from the Holy Quran by the students followed by the national anthem. Mr. Muhammad Hassan Ahmed (Assistant Manager – Alumni Relations Department, Beaconhouse) welcomed the audience and introduced the Beaconhouse Old Students Society (BOSS). He stressed the key elements and basic objectives of BOSS. Panelists included Mr. Sajid Sufi, Chief Strategy Officer, Strategy & Execution Consultants. Mr Ali Irtaza Chief Executive Officer, Ali Zari House, Ms. Yashal Waseem, Associate Consultant at Creare and Mr Hashim Kaleem, Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist with the World Bank and IPQ, GPR instructor. Ms. Farah Waqas (Assistant Manager – Alumni Relations Department, Beaconhouse) moderated the session. Ms Fakiha Azmat (Senior Mistress BCP Gulberg Campus) and Mr Faisal Saeed (Economics Instructor A Level Program BCP Gulberg) facilitated the Alumni Relations Team in every respect which made this event a success! The event concluded with a questions and answers session with the students and ending remarks by Ms Aisha Khalid (School Head BCP Gulberg Campus). In the end, the panelists were presented with giveaways, followed by refreshments.

In celebration of the 77th Independence Day, Beaconhouse BOSS and Beaconhouse Karakoram Campus proudly present a compelling panel discussion featuring our distinguished alumni—some of Pakistan’s most dynamic entrepreneurs. Moderated by our esteemed alumna Ms. Mehreen Qazi (Class of 1999), Manager of Parent Relations at Beaconhouse North, and the exceptionally talented BCP Karakoram Campus student Ms. Rania Faisal (Class of 2025), this discussion brings together visionary leaders who are driving innovation, creating jobs, and making significant contributions to Pakistan’s economy through their startups. Breast Cancer Awareness
On December 14, 2023, Beaconhouse BOSS organized a Panel Discussion on ‘Breast Cancer Awareness’ at Beaconhouse Middle I Gulshan Campus in Karachi. The esteemed panel included Dr. Sarah Arif, a Consultant General and Breast Surgeon and Beaconhouse Jubilee Campus Karachi alumna (Class of 2003), Ms. Javeria Ali, a Breast Cancer survivor and teacher, and Ms. Eisha Usmani, a Clinical Psychologist from the House of Pebbles. The panel discussion was moderated by Ms. Anum Ghori, the Coordinator of Beaconhouse Middle I Gulshan Campus. Pink ribbons were distributed to all guests to symbolize their support for the cause. The session commenced with a welcome note from Ms. Zainab Zaheer, the Assistant Manager of Alumni Relations, who introduced the topic emphasizing the crucial point that ‘Awareness is Power.’ The panelists and moderator were also introduced to the audience. Ms. Anum Ghori posed relevant questions, while Dr. Sarah Arif shared alarming statistics on the prevalence of breast cancer among young Pakistani women. She discussed the symptoms of breast cancer, medical tests, and the importance of self-examination. Ms. Eisha Usmani delved into the emotional and psychological challenges faced by cancer patients and caregivers, offering insights into coping mechanisms for both groups. Ms. Javeria Ali shared her personal journey of surviving cancer, highlighting the importance of following medical advice and attending regular checkups. She emphasized the crucial support from family, friends, and workplace management. Closing the discussion on a positive note, Ms. Maliha Noman, the School Head of Middle I Gulshan Campus, encouraged increased awareness of changes in our bodies and their potential implications. School Head, panelists and moderator were presented with BOSS giveaways, and the audience was guided to an examination room where two female medical professionals assisted women with self-examinations for breast cancer. The event concluded with a lunch for all attendees, leaving them with a renewed awareness of breast cancer as a curable disease.
