Laila Kasuri
Water Analyst at Global Green Growth Institute
She has recently (2019) been recognized as one of the global change makers in Forbes Asia 30 under 30. Moreover, she has led research at organizations such as the World Bank, the US Army Corps of Engineers, and the UC Davis Center for Watershed Sciences on climate-smart irrigation, flood risk reduction, and river basin planning. Laila also studied at Harvard University, for a degree in Hydrology and Geomechanics. She has worked as a volunteer educator for the Marian Koshland Museum of Science, US and as a lab assistant at Harvard Laboratory for Particle Physics and Cosmology. At Beaconhouse, Laila participated in debating and public speaking activities, was the Editor-in-Chief of the annual school magazine, and the President and Founder of Liberty Book Club.
