First Secretary (Political Affairs), Embassy of Pakistan, Paris, France

After passing her O-Levels from Beaconhouse School System (Multan Campus) in 2004, and A-levels from University College Lahore, she did her LLB Honors from University of London and graduated in 2009 with a 2:1 degree. She cleared CSS on her first attempt in 2010. She was allocated to the prestigious Foreign Service of Pakistan and joined the 39th Common Training Program at Civil Services Academy, Lahore as a Pakistani diplomat. She joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2013 and was ranked 5th in the batch. At the Ministry, she served as Assistant Director SAARC, SEAP and HR at various times as a Grade 17 officer. After being promoted to Grade 18, she was posted as First Secretary (Political) at Embassy of Pakistan where she looks after the entirety of Pakistan & bilateral political relations with the host government, advises the Foreign Office on France related policies, hosts and conducts high level delegation visits, maintains government-to-government liaison (including through parliamentary diplomacy) and maintains continuous political reporting from France to Pakistan on all issues of importance. In France, she also served as Pakistan & Deputy Permanent Delegate to UNESCO from 2018-19, where she defended Pakistan & core cultural/educational interests.
