He secured 11 As in O’ Level in 2011 and joined the University of British Columbia on scholarship. He graduated from the Mechatronics Program in 2018. Some of his numerous achievements at UBC include, Chancellor’s Scholar graduating with academic Distinction and Co-operation education, candidate of Dean’s  Honor’s list (2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017), UBC Department of Mechanical Engineering Academics Excellence Awards (2015 and 2018) and UBC Faculty of Applied Sciences International Student Scholarship (2016 and 2017). He also received the UBC International Undergraduate Research Award (2016) and received the Trek Excellence Scholarship for continuing International Student (2014 & 2015) and the UBC International Major Entrance Scholarship (2013-2017).
